Here’s the difference between Vendetta and the rest of the media companies out there. I’m smarter than you. The rest of the fantasy community is really into Antonio Gibson. Go have fun with poor man’s Tony Pollard, you dopes. If anybody is going to emerge in this Washington backfield as a real fantasy asset, it’s Bryce Love.
JP Finlay of NBCS Washington has been at practice everyday. He’s reported that Love is getting first team snaps with the rest of the starters:
“He’s a guy that’s multi-dimensional,” Rivera continued. “At Stanford, he didn’t have to do a lot of routes and pass catching, but he’s very capable and we’re getting to see that. This is a guy that could be an every-down back for you. He’s an explosive, dynamic player.”
Well, well, well, would you look at that? Antonio Gibson is off doing gadget stuff while Bryce Love is getting snaps with the starters. You don’t say? Weird how that works. Almost like a guy that rushed for over 2,000 yards and got second in the Heisman voting is better than someone that has 44 career touches in college.
The question with Bryce Love isn’t talent. This is someone that should have been a first round pick. The question is health. Love basically redshirted last year getting his body right. Heading into year two if healthy, there is no question that Love is the best running back on the depth chart.
Adrian Peterson is still there and will get inside the tackle runs. Peyton Barber will likely do the same. In terms of becoming a fantasy star, Love has that potential. Let the dopes draft Antonio Gibson and make sure to laugh at them when they do.
