Under Maintenance

When people tell you who they are, believe them. Brad Stevens isn’t just not good at his job. He’s also a nerd who is a complete pushover. If Joe Cronin is taking you to the cleaners, maybe more people need to start being honest about what’s going on here.
Let’s be real about what happened with the Jrue Holiday trade. And if you have no idea what I’m talking about, Holiday was dealt to the Blazers for Anfernee Simons and two second round picks. The Celtics are no longer receiving those two second round picks, according to a press release.
Apparently, there was an issue with Holiday’s medical that made the two sides revise the deal. It wasn’t enough to nix the deal, but it was enough to get Portland to cancel sending the additional draft assets.
AKA – that’s code for Stevens got swindled. Because Portland knows if the trade gets canceled, Boston remains over the second apron, and they can’t have that. Instead of growing a backbone, Stevens did what he always does. Let someone else pet his belly while getting swindled in the process.
Soooooo, yeah, the final return for Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis is Simons and Georges Niang.
And this is your god GM? Laughable…
Even AI thinks Stevens is bad at his job…
There’s no room for interpretation on this one. Stevens panicked over the second apron and continued to get swindled over and over again because of it. The Celtics botched this roster reset, and it can’t be argued.
