Your BJ Ojulari 2023 NFL Draft profile is here! How should you feel about the LSU edge rusher prospect? (Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports)

BJ Ojulari 2023 NFL Draft Profile

Yes, this is the brother of Azeez Ojulari. The same guy I tried to pound the table for two years ago. Nobody listened and the Giants got themselves a steal. Will BJ Ojulari prove to be a similar case study for the 2023 NFL Draft? Let’s go over the 2023 NFL Draft profile for the LSU edge rusher to cover everything you need to know!

Former four star recruit out of Marietta Georgia. Was a contributor immediately as a true freshman racking up four sacks that year. That part is always an important indicator for me. Guys that do that usually always have the talent to translate to the NFL level. Ojulari notched seven sacks and a sophomore and then 5.5 in 2022 but it should be noted that last year was an injury plagued season.

He’s everything you want as a pure pass rusher. We don’t have a 40 time but his brother didn’t run either. Both Ojulari’s are bendy, athletic, and know how to get after the quarterback. Not an A against the run and is just 248 but has the length. Maybe this is too basic but he’s similar to his brother and Azeez turned out to be a really good player. In the second round here, teams should feel good about turning the card in for a potential double digit sack guy.

I have Ojulari as my third best edge rusher in the draft. I think his stock would be higher if the knee injury didn’t bite him this past year. His freshman tape is everything you want to see. He’s a great person and will be a productive pro. When he gets nastier with the hands, his stock will really take off.
