Bill Belichick Shades Ryan Poles, Rips Team Building Strategy With Bears

Bill Belichick has left the NFL behind after inking a deal to become the new head coach at the University of North Carolina. That doesn’t mean he’s done throwing shade at some of the incompetent people still at the NFL level. The former Patriots head coach absolutely torched Ryan Poles in a recent interview on the Pat McAfee show.

It’s a must watch clip because in classic Belichick fashion, it’s such dry humor but it’s so damn funny at the same time.

“You know, you and I have talked about the Bears. You go out, draft the quarterback, you go and acquire all the receivers and everything … but you know — no running game, no pass protection, no production, can’t score,” noted Belichick.

“In a city where you know it’s going to be tough to throw at the end of the season. Period,”

Ryan Poles Doesn’t Understand The Value Of Second Round Picks And Should Be Fired For It

It’s worth noting that Belichick isn’t the only member of the new staff at North Carolina who thinks Poles is a moron. Belichick hired Michael Lombardi to be his GM at North Carolina. Lombo is also previously on record for calling Poles an idiot for his team-building strategy. Lombardi claims that Poles built a Madden team and based on how this season has gone, it’s impossible to disagree.

In fairness to Poles, we also learned that Kevin Warren is very involved in what’s going on behind the scenes too. Poles is a dope but let’s not let Warren get off the hook here either.

Oh, and before we close… I’m obligated to point you in the direction of the Poles video we created. There is no room for interpretation. Poles is a complete moron and should have been fired a long time ago. You can watch that video here.
