Ben Yurosek 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Can Ben Yurosek make his mark at the NFL level? We saw a nasty tight end from Georgia do just that a year ago. You’re definitely not getting that this year but Ben Yurosek is next up on the to-do list for the 2025 NFL Draft profile series. Let’s have a talk about everything you need to know.

This is obviously not Brock Bowers 2.0. If anything, it’s homeless man version of Zach Ertz and that might be being generous. Yurosek spent three years at Stanford prior to finishing up his final season at Georgia. The production curve is so weird here too. Actually had some production during his first two years at Stanford. Then totally fell off a cliff the next two years.

Just so weird. Actually made a name for himself notching 42 receptions for 653 yards and three scores as a freshman. Never came close to those numbers again. In fact, it got worse every single year. In 2024 to wrap up his career, Yurosek recorded 15 receptions for 185 yards and no touchdowns. He came in trying to compete for the job and the weapons on Georgia never performed but Oscar Delp and even Lawson Luckie are clearly better players and we saw that play out.

No Combine invite for Yurosek, which says plenty. That means we get no real accurate measurements either but was listed at 6-foot-5, 245. Has size but just never got better and it all played out on the field. We’re not looking at a thing where this guy deserved an invite either. Wasn’t included in the stock report notes either. There’s nothing to really evaluate from this past year. Many times he wasn’t even on the field. Georgia was begging for a pass catcher to emerge and it was never going to happen here.

I have an undrafted grade on Ben Yurosek. Forget about replacing Brock Bowers. The guy wasn’t even the third best tight end this year on his own college team. There’s nothing here at all and I think we saw plenty at Georgia to suggest you’re looking at an incredibly low ceiling here.
