All American Netflix Review

Since Corona, one of the shows I’ve gotten into is All American. I’m in the middle of season 2 so I feel like I have enough info about the show whether to recommend it or not. Like always, I’ll write this review while trying not to give any spoilers away. Let’s get right to it: All American Netflix Review.

If you’re a football guy, you’re going to like this show. It’s like all football shows or movies. There’s something about it fundamentally that makes it a perfect football show. If you’re a football person, I would recommend this show. If you like football, it’s impossible to hate the show.

It’s not a perfect show. I have two real complaints. I get that every show has drama. That’s going to be there. However, it’s TOO over the top. What can go wrong will go wrong. It’s one thing to have drama but this show almost goes way over the top. The other complaint I have is the actors are WAY too old. I’m supposed to believe these characters are in high school? C’mon. I know it’s a silly thing but it’s hard not to think it while watching the show. I lied 3 complaints. The linebacker needs more of a Thad Castle vibe to him.

Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy the show. There are moments where it really tugs at your heart strings. Daniel Ezra is the perfect actor for the show. After you learn that he’s from the UK, you appreciate his acting talent more. It’s a great show. It perfectly portrays spoiled rich kids and other kids who fight for what they don’t’ have. The storyline always keeps you engaged in the show. I never find myself getting distracted.

When it comes to All American, it’s a show I would recommend. It’s not perfect but you won’t be disappointed. It’s a quality show that’s worth your time.
