Adrian Yanez Will Be A Future Star In The UFC

Adrian Yanez is a UFC fighter who is currently fighting in the bantamweight division and he’s a future star in the making. The 28-year-old who was born in La Porte, Texas, and now fights out of Houston, Texas. Yanez, who trains with the Metro Fight Club, had a nice career before he broke into the UFC, fighting in Bellator, Fury Fighting, and Legacy Fighting Championship. He started out in the UFC after he earned a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in Week Two of the 2020 series.

Yanez followed up his TKO win in the Contender Series with a marvelous head kick KO in his UFC debut against Victor Rodriguez. He is 5-0 in the UFC with four finishes and one split decision. His record definitely represents his fighting style as he is an entertaining striker that has been absolutely smoking people. Also, all five victories have not come against unranked fighters as he has gotten his armed raised against Randy Costa, Davey Grant, and Tony Kelley.

Yanez is an incredibly technical striker with great boxing as he seamlessly works to his opponent’s head and body during fights. He is great at judging distance, using his head movement to evade a lot of his opponent’s strikes and he possesses a strong chin when he does get touched. The smooth striker also has good wrestling, and he is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Overall, he is an intriguing prospect that carries a certain dog mentality into the cage which can be seen in his knack for finding the finish in his fights.

What’s next for Adrian Yanez?

Adrian Yanez is currently unranked and is coming off a win against Tony Kelley on June 18 of this year. The unfortunate problem for Yanez is he is fighting in arguably the most stacked division in the UFC. As already mentioned, Yanez is 5-0 in the UFC so he should hopefully get a ranked opponent for his next fight.

Yanez has several options as he could face several fights, including Jack Shore, Rob Font, Pedro Munhoz and Frankie Edgar. I think he will be a tough bout with any of those guys and more importantly, I think it will be an entertaining fight for the fans. Keep an eye out for Adrian Yanez as I believe he is a future UFC star on the rise.
