Aaron Rodgers Is Pissed The Jets Are On Hard Knocks

It doesn’t seem like anyone in the Jets locker room is happy about the fact that they have been named the Hard Knocks team for the 2023 NFL Season. Then again, I’m just not sure why they’re surprised. This is kind of what you get when you’re a New York based team that just traded for Aaron Rodgers.

Speaking of Aaron Rodgers, it turns out that he’s also unhappy about the Jets getting slapped with Hard Knocks. Shocker!!!

“One of the only things I like about ‘Hard Knocks’ is the voice of God, who narrates it — Liev [Schreiber]. I hope I get to meet him,” Rodgers said. “Look, I understand the appeal with us. Obviously, there’s a lot eyes on me, a lot of eyes on our team, a lot of expectations for our squad.

“They forced it down our throats and we gotta deal with it.”

Zero NFL teams volunteered to do Hard Knocks this year. The only way the Jets would have been exempt is if they had a first-year head coach, made playoff berth in the past two seasons, or appeared on Hard Knocks in the past 10 seasons. With that in mind, HBO picked the right team. Just watching Rodgers deal with Zach Wilson alone is must-see TV.

On a separate note; my favorite line came from Robert Saleh, who claimed that teams wanted to be on Hard Knocks when nobody signed up.

“I know there are several teams that would love for ‘Hard Knocks’ to be in their building. We’re just not one of them,” Saleh said.

Just a totally blatant lie. That’s bad karma if you ask me and the Jets deserve to be hit with the cheese if this is the way they’re going to act.
