Earl Thomas Fractures Leg, Chucks The Finger At Pete Carroll

The bad news is Earl Thomas broke his leg. Pete Carroll announced the injury following the Seahawks 20-17 win over the Cardinals. It was a clean break and his season will likely end. The good news is we got a hilarious clip out of it. What I mean by that is Earl Thomas chucked his head coach the finger after the injury.

Thomas, 29, will become an unrestricted free agent following the end of the season. Seattle has tried to trade Thomas for the entire season and have tried to extract a second-round pick in return. Now Seattle will likely lose Thomas for nothing. I can’t see him coming back to Seattle, especially after that video. This is why Le’Veon Bell is holding out!

Thomas injured himself on a non-contact injury with 8:59 remaining in the 3rd quarter. Thomas’ last play on the season was a 22-yard touchdown by Chad Williams on a throw by Josh Rosen. Thomas was carted off the field with an air cast and it was pretty clear that something major happened.

“It was a lower-leg fracture,” Carroll announced during his post-game press conference.

“We were just turning things around; everything was going in a really positive direction,” Carroll told reporters. “It breaks my heart that we’re talking about this right now.”

Seattle is just a mess. The question moving forward for Seattle may be Pete Carroll. He is also in the last year of his deal. He’s clearly lost the locker room and they are struggling to beat teams like the Cardinals on a week to week basis.

Will Dissly was also lost for the season in this game adding insult to injury. Dissly, the fourth-round pick from the University of Washington tore his Patella.
