Yes and No
Vince McMahon and Ari Emanuel were on CNBC to talk about the sale of the company. McMahon was asked if he was going to be involved in WWE creative like he had been in the past. Vince responded, “Yes and no.” He said he wasn’t going to be “in the weeds,” however he will be involved “on a higher level.” Also, Vince McMahon will act as the Executive Chairman of the Board of the new company.
There have been some rumors that Triple H will remain the Chief Content Officer in WWE but nothing has been confirmed. There has been a lot of speculation about whether or not Vince McMahon was involved in creative since he forced his way back into WWE. However, the rumors were and remain that he isn’t really involved in creative. So it’s up in the air if he actually will get involved again. One thing is for certain, fans have been praising Triple H for the direction of creative since he took over. So it would be a shame if he didn’t continue as the Chief Content Officer in WWE.
