Dianna Russini Fires Back At Aaron Rodgers With Funny Remark About Her Love Life
“Aaron Rodgers isn’t the first guy to tell me to lose my number”. Those are the words of Dianna Russini today and you have to give it to her. It was funny. She played this about as well as she possibly could have.
If you still don’t know what I’m referring to, Rodgers blasted both Russini and Adam Schefter during his awesome interview with Pat McAfee. A show that also included an announcement that let the rest of the world know that he intends to play for the Jets for the 2023-24 season.
The soon-to-be Packers quarterback claims that the ESPN crew has stretched the truth on his demands in order to join the Jets. New York did sign Allen Lazard pretty quickly so who really knows how much truth there was to it? Russini defends her reporting while Rodgers clearly believes they stretched the truth.
At this point, who knows when the Rodgers thing gets done? However, it’s safe to say that ESPN won’t get any Rodgers scoops before McAfee does. Based on ESPN’s past, Rodgers may have a point. On the flip side, everything Russini says in her clip does add up. Big difference between wish list and demand list.
We know the ESPN reporters aren’t exactly the model of consistency. They have slipped up and been wrong on several reports. We haven’t used Russini here as a reliable source for news here since she botched the Doug Marrone news. We don’t have that post on our database anymore for that reason. Just something to keep in mind that Russini has, in fact, been caught slipping in the past.
