A few weeks ago, Mark Titus and Tate Frazier announced that their show Titus & Tate would be leaving FOX after a couple years with the network. Titus just revealed his next destination, and he’s headed there alone. The college basketball personality and podcaster is headed to Barstool Sports and starting a new show. Titus & Tate is no more as Tate Frazier will not be accompanying Titus in the move.
Titus made his announcement via a commitment video on Twitter.
He followed up the video with some thanks and apologies. Many fans were upset after being led to believe Titus & Tate would continue elsewhere, then finding out the show was being canned.
The move doesn’t come as a total surprise. Titus has featured in Barstool’s content with relative frequency, most often as a member of Smockin in The Dozen Trivia competition. He has also appeared on Pardon My Take on more than one occasion.
The Mark Titus Show will be out Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting March 6.
Titus suggested that he will be doing a little more than just college basketball coverage. However, given the disaster that is the RoundBall Podcast, it wouldn’t be a horrible thing if he just took over Barstool’s CBB coverage entirely. He will be doing a Selection Sunday show with Jake Marsh, and plans to have rotating guests.
Tate Frazier has not commented on Titus joining Barstool nor announced his own next destination or venture. His Twitter bio currently advertises his production company Figures Network. The pair had been podcasting together since 2016 under different names. Whether you knew them as T’d Up, One Shining Podcast, or Titus & Tate, this era has come to a close.
