Pebble Beach Golf Links Now Available On PGA Tour 2K23
With the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am right around the corner, Pebble Beach Golf Links is now available in PGA Tour 2K23! It will be joining an already extensive list of licensed courses.
The news came via a press release I received from 2K Games, you can read the full paragraph below here:
“Just in time for the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the No. 1 public course in the US is making its way to PGA TOUR 2K23. Pebble Beach Golf Links, one of golf’s most iconic courses, will be available free to all PGA TOUR 2K23 players starting today. Boasting spectacular views of the sea meeting the land over the Pacific Ocean, players will test their skill as they take on the smallest greens on the PGA TOUR. To celebrate the new addition, players can take part in the eSeries event at Pebble Beach in the official PGA TOUR 2K Society tomorrow through Sunday, February 5.” – Via a 2K Games Press Release
I’ve done extensive coverage of this game, from the press releases sent in August and September, to doing a review of the game upon release (Thanks again to 2K Games for the code). One thing that was made clear throughout the weeks leading up to the game’s release was that they will be adding real licensed courses after the initial release, and here 2K Games is delivering.
Pebble Beach Golf Links is a beautiful course to see, and it appears that 2K Games will be doing its beauty justice in the game. I mean just look at the picture, that looks absolutely stunning and the great graphics were one of the things that I loved about the game upon launch.
Having an official event through the PGA Tour 2K Society utilizing the newly added course is a great idea as well, as it gives players a fun challenge while enjoying the beauty.
I expect 2K Games will be continuing the great work they have done with PGA Tour 2K23.
