Anna Kane Is Going Lower Than Low

Anna Kane is really going off the deep end. If you don’t know, she is the ex-wife of Edmonton Oilers winger Evander Kane. And long story short, the pair completed a divorce earlier this year after a very messy time together. With issues like Evander’s off-ice gambling, domestic violence allegations, etc., the pair were in hot water and still continue to be. The latest example of that came last night when the Oilers played the Tampa Bay Lightning. Kane took a skate to the wrist following a tangle-up with Patrick Maroon. Absolutely horrifying. I am wishing him all the best and a speedy recovery.

His ex-wife, however, did not seem to have as much sympathy. Only minutes after Kane was taken out of the arena and to the hospital, Anna did something almost as horrifying. She used the publicity of the injury to promote her own OnlyFans account. You can’t write this stuff up. What in the world is wrong with her? Of course, she tried to backtrack on the massive criticism on social media but the damage was done. Rather than extending warm wishes, or even DOING NOTHING, she decided to strike while the iron was hot. That is, in my book at least, a new low.

What Was She Thinking?

The fact of the matter is Evander Kane could have never play hockey again. Kane did put out a statement saying he was okay and it’s been reported as a 3-4 month injury. However, this could have been something that was career-ending. Say what you want about his past, but he carved himself a pretty good role out in Edmonton. He was also a key contributor as to getting them to the Western Conference Final last year. The Oilers have enough problems as it is. Losing one of their Top-six forwards for a number of months only makes it even more complicated.

Obviously, that doesn’t matter to Anna. Only bringing in some extra cash while the eyes of the internet were in a frenzy. I can understand that there’s bad blood between the two of them. But in the end, he is a human being. One who I am sure is going through a lot of pain and discomfort at the moment. She can backtrack and justify her actions all she wants. But at the end of the day, what she did is one of the worst things I have ever seen on social media.
