Packers Are Going To Win The 2022 Super Bowl

The Green Bay Packers are without question going to the Super Bowl. I’m writing this before their divisional game against the 49ers more so to exude my confidence in Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur. I gave my reasons as to why Green Bay will be dominating their San Francisco matchup, but there’s a copious amount of reasons why they’ll be running through the Rams or Buccaneers afterwards.

First and foremost, this team is getting healthy. Injuries to David Bakhtiari, Jaire Alexander, Za’Darius Smith are all expected to at the very least be ready for the Championship round. These All-Pro caliber players have been out the majority of the season, while the Packers managed a 13-4 record. Aaron Rodgers will win the MVP award for the second consecutive year as he put on another show this season. Throwing for 37 touchdowns and 4 interceptions is by far the best ratio in the league.

Consequently, Davante Adams has been proving time and time again why he’s the best receiver in the league. Turning around top cornerbacks around the league every week is a sight to behold. Brian Gutekunst redeemed himself with major singings of De’Vondre Campbell and Rasul Douglas. Both of whom have had career years in Green Bay, being diamonds in the rough for a defense that struggled to find an identity. The drama in the offseason is all left behind for this team, and it should be for all Packer fans. If you don’t love this team, you better start to.

This defense will force even more turnovers than they already have. A date with the Rams or Bucs in the next round will be a cakewalk. The Rams were already beaten down in Lambeau this year with the aforementioned players all out. Matthew Stafford always comes into Lambeau ready to lose and that won’t change. A rematch of last year’s NFC Championship against Tampa Bay will go significantly different. Kevin King won’t see the field with Eric Stokes and Rasul Douglas manning the CB2 spot. Even so, the Bucs receiving room is devoid of talent outside of Mike Evans. Tom Brady won’t be able to make another Super Bowl this season.

Finally, whoever comes out of the AFC will get shredded by this Packers squad. Realistically, it’ll be the Chiefs or Bills and I’m not worried about either. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are great quarterbacks, I agree with that for sure. However, I’m going to keep bringing up this new and improved Green Bay defense. A combination of Za’Darius Smith, Rashan Gary, Preston Smith, Jair Alexander, and Rasul Douglas is every quarterback’s nightmare. It’s a recipe for collapsing the pocket and forcing errant throws.

If we get the Chiefs’ defense, Rodgers will drop five touchdowns with ease. Bakhtiari will be huge in stifling pass-rush specialist Melvin Ingram whose career has been revitalized in Kansas City. The Bills defense will be trickier for Rodgers to overcome, but thankfully the one-two punch in the backfield can handle it. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon have torn up defenses all year with the combination of speed and power respectively. Those two will have a field day against Buffalo’s porous defensive line.

All in all, I am beyond excited to watch the Packers take the field in the playoffs. With all the stars coming back healthy it feels like an All-Star game is about to unfold. Am I biased in my opinions? Of course. Even so, I have no doubt in my mind that the Packers will win the Super Bowl this year.
