Christmas Gifts For Every AFC East Team

A follow-up on my last post where I gave gifts to every AFC North team, I’m giving gifts to every AFC East team here! These gifts are designed to either amplify a strength or address a glaring weakness in each team to help them compete.

Buffalo Bills: A Run Defense

The Buffalo Bills just get absolutely killed on the ground. In a game where they knew that New England would be running almost the entire night, they let up big plays on the ground. The Colts ran all over them. The Bills simply aren’t built to beat physical running games and that’s why this is the gift I’ll be giving them.

Miami Dolphins: An Offensive Line

Just about anything would be better than the offensive line the Dolphins are currently putting out there. The only reason this line isn’t making consistent headlines for how bad it is is due to the fact that Tua is actually doing a great job protecting this line with a very quick passing game, which is his only option at this point. Giving Tua some stability would help this Dolphins team immensely.

New York Jets: Real Weapons

It’s time to surround Zach Wilson and put him in the best possible situation to succeed. New York needs to know if Wilson is the guy, and putting him in position to succeed is how the Jets find that out. Giving him weapons to maximize his upside is my gift to the New York Jets.

New England Patriots: An Alpha Wide Receiver

The Patriots have seemingly everything. Everything but an alpha wide receiver for Mac Jones. Don’t get me wrong, they have some solid pieces but no true wide receiver one who can beat up any corner. Give New England a true wide receiver one, and they’re really cooking.

The AFC East is an interesting division. There are two clear playoff teams, with a middle-of-the-pack team and one that just flat out sucks. It will be interesting to see who makes the playoffs here.
