Warriors HC Steve Kerr Billed as Next Coach of USA Men’s Basketball

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has been billed as the next coach of USA Basketball, per a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Kerr, a three-time NBA champion as coach of the Warriors, will replace Gregg Popovich at the helm of Team USA, with the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup set to be his first tournament. Kerr’s coaching staff will include Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra, Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams and Gonzaga coach Mark Few, per Wojnarowski.
