Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull, and next up is The University of Minnesota.
Goodness, was 2020 a season to forget for PJ Fleck and the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Expectations were sky-high coming off the 2019 season where they finished 10-2, including a bowl win over Auburn. But injuries started piling up early and this team just couldn’t recover. But when healthy, this Golden Gophers team has the potential to make some noise in the Big-10 West. Their division shapes up to have a lot of question marks surrounding it, and if Minnesota can find their footing, compounded with a lighter schedule, the opportunity for wins is there. The calling card for Minnesota is their defense, which should bounce back from an up and down 2020 season after a dominant 2019 season. Their game against Wisconsin at the end of the season could decide who makes it to the Conference Championship game.
On SimBull CFB, the current price is at $38.03 a share. I wrote an article about a month ago, where I listed some under-the-radar teams to invest in, and I listed Minnesota and I still believe that now. PJ Fleck is a hell of a coach, and I believe that this team can take advantage of a lackluster Big-10 West this season and find a way to be near double-digit wins again this season. Minnesota should be a wise investment if you are looking for long-term investing and short-term returns. I am riding with the Golden Gophers.
