On The Field
2020 got off to a bright start for the Yellow Jackets after going to Florida State and beating the Seminoles. They were quickly reminded that Florida State is an irrelevant football program this decade, as Georgia Tech would lose 7 of their last 9 games to end the year.
They brought the losing with them into 2021 losing week one to Northern Illinois by one at home. They did beat up on an inferior team in Kennesaw State in week two but have the juggernaut of Clemson the week after. They have four unranked opponents left on their schedule and would need to win all of them to hit their projected win total.
In The Market
The SimGT Yellow Jackets are the 12th cheapest team in the entire SimBull CFB market at $28.73 and are the second cheapest ACC team. Their tough schedule will likely take a toll on their share price if they pile up losses, but with a price already under thirty dollars, they are close to their floor.
If you are holding these shares already, I would hang tight and not look at the price for the rest of the season. If they somehow upset an ACC opponent during the season, that will give their share price a bump if you want to try and get some extra coin to invest.
