5 Under The Radar Teams To Invest In SimBull CFB

The time has finally arrived! Football is back in our lives. We are a few short weeks away from the kickoff to the NFL season, and College Football is getting under away this weekend. With that being said, we are going to break down 5 teams that are flying under the radar that you should take a look at investing in on SimBull CFB. Recently, we have you a breakdown of the best head coaches to invest in, along with the worst both of which you can click the links to find.

*This list is in no particular order*

LSU – $41

It seems like ages ago that LSU went 15-0 and won the National Championship. 2020 was a forgettable year for the Tigers, going 5-5 and losing to Alabama and Auburn by a combined 75 points. But Head Coach Ed Orgeron is returning 18 starters from a year ago, much more than the 5 he had in 2020. Both Myles Brennan and Max Johnson could see the field in week one and with a defense anchored by future top 5 pick Derek Stingley, this Tigers team is bound to improve from a season ago.

Ole Miss – $40.41

Not only is Ole Miss a juicy investment on SimBull CFB, but I think they can be a dark horse in the SEC West. Lane Kiffin is entering his second year and returning 17 starters from a year ago. This is the same unit that knocked off then 7th ranked Indiana in the Outback Bowl. I am also a big fan of Jerrion Ealy at Running Back and Matt Corral under center. This is another SEC team that if teams sleep on them, they can find themselves on the losing end of the score at the end of a game.

Wisconsin – $49.16

2020 was a disastrous season for the Badgers. A 3-3 finish to the year, Graham Mertz injured for most of it, and a third-place finish in the Big Ten West was not on the agenda for this team. But I believe that with a full season and Mertz back at 100%, they can vastly improve from where they were a season ago. The offense should be just fine but the defense is where this team’s bread and butter is at. Last season, they held 5 teams to 17 points or fewer, and they should be among the best defensive units in the country.

TCU – $39.54

TCU did not get out of the gates hot last season: a 1-3 start and was not looking good at all. But the Horned Frogs managed to turn their season around, winning 5 of their last 6 including wins over Texas and Oklahoma State. Quarterback Max Duggan has another year in this offense which should do him well. The nose will come from the defensive line, where they return Defensive Ends Ochaun Mathis and Kahri Coleman, who combined for 12 sacks last season.

Minnesota – $34.83

Listen, I am aware that last season was god awful for PJ Fleck and the Golden Gophers. Coming off of one of their best seasons in program history in 2019 where they won 11 games, falling to 3 wins on the year is a tough pill to swallow. But when I say this team was ravaged with injuries and COVID issues last season, it was among the worst in College Football last season. Fleck returns most of this offense from last season including Mohamed Ibrahim, who is the only Power Five Running Back with two 1,000 yard seasons. While their road game slate is brutal, Minnesota should be just fine in terms of their SimBull CFB stock and you should see a handsome return on investment.
