Rico Bosco was threatened by Jeff Nadu just by being a gambling guy.
Jeff Nadu recently came on Kriegs Korner, a podcast on the Vendetta network, and shared some details about his departure from Barstool Sports.
I had written a few pieces before about Nadu and why I thought he left Barstool, but he was kind enough to come on my show for a monumental episode and told his side of the story and shed some light on some of the behind the scenes stuff.
“The end game was, I was never going to be able to truly do what I wanted to do there, with certain folks hanging above me and we know who that person is, he was never willing to play ball with me. It was never about me or him, I really had ultimately no issue with the guy, he made it impossible for me to ever do anything there.
I saw you even wrote about it Adam, you wrote that I wasn’t included in things, and it wasn’t that I wasn’t trying to be there… I was bared because he would be there… I was always kind of second fiddle there”
Jeff Nadu on Kriegs Korner
Nadu is referencing this article I wrote, and he made it clear that he would have been at the house if he was allowed, but Rico would not be in the same room so the powers that be made the decision that Nadu would not go to gambling events.
“He wasn’t ever willing to play ball and that was the ultimate issue
The truth of the matter is Rico Bosco could say he doesn’t need me all he wants, say I am JV he can say this he can say that. But at the end of the day, he is a whole lot less interesting when he has nobody to beef with.
Don’t you think it is ironic that after 7 years the man doesn’t show his face and as soon as I get into the fold all of a sudden he wants to show his face and be a part of everything. Why do you think that is?
At the end of the day, he can say all he wants, He is threatened by me you know it and I know it… He looked at me as competition”
Nadu on Kriegs Korner
Rico Bosco was threatened by Nadu’s presence in the company, not by anything he did or said, just by him being apart of Barstool
“I wanted to fight him, they offered us $350,000 to fight I would have gotten to the point where he could have had most of the money I just wanted to do it, I just wanted to fight him, to settle it there”
TL//DR: Rico Bosco was threatened by Jeff Nadu, that was ultimately why Nadu had to leave Barstool Sports.
