Trouble Brewing in Seattle? Russell Wilson May Be On His Way Out.
Russell Wilson’s comments about the lack of protection he is getting have caused management to become unhappy. You can find the exact things that the 2020 Walter Payton Man of The Year winner said below.
In the last couple of days, Seahawks management has apparently become unhappy with what their star Quarterback had to say. In an article on NBC Sports, Dan Patrick of The Dan Patrick Show talked about how the Seahawks management is “Unhappy” with what Russ had to say:
A source told me that the Seahawks’ management is not happy with Russell Wilson and his camp for taking this to the media,” Patrick said. “You wonder if they’re going to be able to co-exist. . . . The current situation is not sustainable. That’s what I was told.

If things keep brewing like it seems to be, there may be a new Quarterback in Seattle next season. While I think that the Seahawks would be stupid to send him away and gain around $39 million in dead cap, crazier things have happened in the sports world.
If I were in the Hawks front office and was forced to make a trade, there is only one solution I see fit. Seattle and Houston can make a decent deal. Here is one option I could maybe see:
Houston Receives: Russell Wilson, 2021 Second, 2022 Second
Seattle Receives: Deshaun Watson, JJ Watt
The reason I put Watt in there is that he has made it known he is not happy with the Texans either, and it would be a way to let him go as well. The only way Russ leaves Seattle is if another top 5 QB replaces him.
