Scotty Miller Says He’s Faster Than Tyreek Hill

Super Bowl LV between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers is right around the corner. We have a battle between the goat Tom Brady and the best young quarterback in the sport Patrick Mahomes. We also have the Scotty Miller vs Tyreek Hill battle. What?

Recently, Miller was interviewed on The Dan Patrick Show. Miller wasn’t shy about it. He believes he’s faster than the Chiefs lightning rod:

I’m taking me, every day of the week,” Miller said. “I’ll take me over anybody. Tyreek is unbelievable, super quick, unbelievable talent. But if we’re talking about a race, I’ve got all the confidence in myself going up against anybody.”

Scotty Miller and Tyreek Hill both don’t have official NFL Scouting Combine 40 times to compare. There is no official measurement between the two. Miller did run a 4.39-second 40-yard dash at his Bowling Green Pro Day. Hill, on the other hand, clocked in at 4.29. We also know Pro Day times aren’t the most reliable.

Hill is probably the fastest man in the NFL, but there’s no question Miller is fast and confident. He’s also the most underrated piece to the Bucs offense. While Mike Evans and Chris Godwin get all the attention, the white slot receiver from Bowling Green is a huge part of the offense.

From WTFITG (If you don’t know already, you should) to one of Tom Brady’s most reliable targets. Miller’s touchdown before the first half of the Packers playoff game changed the fortune of the entire contest.

Heading into the Super Bowl, Miller could be one of the biggest X-Factors out there. KC doesn’t have a ton of cornerback depth. Outside of L’Jarius Sneed and Charvarius Ward, it starts to get THIN. Miller would be the guy who has a Julian Edelman type game and becomes a legend.

Side Note: I’m not kidding; I think Scotty Miller would be the number one receiver in New England right now.
