Tyreek Hill: The Most Dangerous Man in Football

Tyreek Hill

We are in the age of football where it is all about speed. And no one suits the game better today than Tyreek Hill. Hill, the fifth-round pick for Kansas City out of West Alabama, has exceeded everyone’s expectations and put his stamp on the game. For my money, Hill is a top 3 wide receiver in the game today. As he looks to help his team reach back-to-back Super Bowl wins next Sunday, let’s take a look as to why Tyreek Hill is the most dangerous man in football.

The obvious factor that comes to mind that makes Tyreek Hill so dangerous is his speed. At his pro day at West Alabama, he was clocked at 4.29 for his 40-yard dash. His freakish speed makes him a weapon in any offense. But especially in Andy Reid’s up-tempo, high octane offense. The ability to switch direction thanks to his speed and quick feet make him nearly impossible to cover, no matter who you are. He is undoubtedly the pound for pound king of speed in the NFL.

What is slept on in Hills game is his durability. During his 5 years in the NFL so far, Hill has played in all but 6 games. Wide receiver is a demanding position to play, so his ability to stay on the field is something to not take for granted. It is a safe bet that you check the gameday active list for the Chiefs, you’ll see Tyreek Hill on the list.

You can not deny him any longer. Tyreek Hill is among the top three receivers in football today. He is having a career year in terms of touchdowns, with 17 (15 receiving, two rushing). An argument could be made that we are looking at one of the most underrated receivers, honestly. If you disagree, be my guest to go try and cover him for 60 minutes. But I have a feeling that might not go well.
