Remember When Laker Fans Thought Marc Gasol Wasn’t Washed?
I laugh at Lakers fans, they think everything they do is the best thing ever. Granted the Lakers just won a championship and they have the room to talk their shit currently. However, let’s stop acting like everything the Lakers do is the best thing ever because they are the Lakers or because LeBron is on the team. Marc Gasol is washed. That was evident in Toronto, and the Lakers thought the Gasol they were getting was prime Marc Gasol in Memphis. HA!
Last year, at age 35 with the Raptors, his stats were clear that he was on the decline. He averaged 7.5 PPG on 42.7% shooting with 6.3 RPG in 26 minutes. He’s obviously washed. Now, the Laker fans, who I’m convinced ONLY watch the Lakers, are realizing that. This year he is averaging 4.5 PPG on 45.8% shooting, and 4.7 RPG in 20 minutes. That’s garbage. Why were Laker fans so excited about signing an old man that only average 7.5 PPG last year? Only for him to do worse this year. Marc Gasol had more of a role in Toronto than he will have in Los Angeles.
Laker fans make me laugh. They think they know everything about the NBA without actually watching any basketball being played around the league. They saw a big name and thought he was the same player. Do better Laker fans. Pay attention to the game and other teams that aren’t the Lakers, you might learn a thing or two about the actual game. The Raptors weren’t a bad team last year but Marc Gasol had nothing to do with that. If you had paid attention, you would have realized that Serge Ibaka was a way better acquisition that went to the other LA team.
