Bryson Nesbit 2025 NFL Draft Profile

There are definitely some dudes at the tight end position this year but is Bryson Nesbit one of them? We’re grinding through these profiles and we have things to talk about with the UNC tight end. No need to waste any more time. Let’s get right to the Nesbit 2025 NFL Draft profile!

Nesbit, 22, had a really disappointing 2024 season. 2022 and 2023 he showed flashes but his numbers regressed in a bad way his final year at UNC. Losing Drake Maye probably has something to do with that? Nesbit was over 500 yards each with Maye and fell off to 264 yards without him. In fairness, that’s in seven games after missing some time this past year.

Checks in at 6-foot-5, 238, and ran a painfully slow 4.88 at the Combine. If you’re going to run that slow, it has to be because you’re a blocking tight end. That’s not what Nesbit is good at. He should probably be crossed off your list for that alone. Former four star guy out of the state of North Carolina.

There just isn’t much to like here. Jumping numbers weren’t good at the Combine either. Doesn’t create space and reel in balls vertically. I see a fair share of drops and not a confident hands catcher. Doesn’t have the body to block and isn’t good at it anyway. Looks like a slot receiver but isn’t fast enough to create mismatches. No separation, bad knee bender/upright, and doesn’t have any real power element in his game either.

I have an undrafted grade on Bryson Nesbit. It would be impossible to go higher based on the Combine alone. Just seems pretty obvious to see his flaws and don’t really see a path forward here to be a legit NFL player. No priority free agent either for me. I’m totally out on this one.
