Why The Philadelphia Eagles Will Win Super Bowl LIX

Super Bowl LIX is finally here. The culmination of the 2024-25 NFL Season will come to an end today. Prior to kick-off, we’re going to go over a list of reasons why each team can lift the Lombardi Trophy. Here is why the Philadelphia Eagles will emerge victorious and three-peat their way to another championship!

Saquon Barkley

The man is just on a mission. The last two playoff games the Eagles played, Barkley is averaging 7.9 yards per carry and scored five rushing touchdowns. Barkley cannot be stopped right now and nobody on the Chiefs scares you enough to slow him down.

Football is a simple game and the Eagles are the best at doing it. Their offensive line controls the game and Barkley is a hammer that beats you to death. The Chiefs don’t have that element in their game right now. Isiah Pacheco hasn’t been right all year and Kareem Hunt is a nice story but doesn’t match up to what the Eagles have.

If the Eagles get a lead early, it’s hard to see them giving it back the way Barkley can close the game. Not to mention that they’re automatic in short yardage situations. Add in the Jalen Hurts run game and Philly wins this game no problem.

Jalen Carter

The last time the Chiefs lost a Super Bowl, the team they lost to looked a lot like the Eagles do now. You remember that Bucs front led by Vita Vea causing too many problems. The same thing is going to happen in this game.

Jalen Carter is truly a game wrecker. You can’t stop this man. It’s not a threat the Chiefs have had to deal with during this run. You have to double this man on every snap. It’s bad enough the Chiefs don’t have any tackles. Their guard and center tandem is going to have to deal with a wrecking ball.

It’s not just Jalen Carter. It’s what Carter frees up the rest of the pass rushing arsenal to do. It’s also Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith, Josh Sweat, and now Brandon Graham is coming back.

Carter wrecks the game and forces a few turnovers that seals the win for Philly.

Howie Roseman

The Eagles are the better team. I’m not sure it’s arguable. The Chiefs have a HUGE problem at offensive tackle. The Eagles have two All-Pros at tackle. Go up and down the list.

Edge to Philly at running back, pass catchers, offensive line, defensive line, Zack Baun, and secondary. Up and down the roster, it’s not close. Howie Roseman has built a much better TEAM than Brett Veach has.

You can’t argue it. The young talent Philly has is night and day better. Name ONE young player the Chiefs have who is making a big impact right now? Other than Xavier Worthy, the Chiefs haven’t gotten anything out of their first and second year players.

Verdict

The Eagles are the better team and people should just accept that. Howie Roseman deserves a championship for being smart enough to be the only guy in the league to figure out that taking all of the players on Georgia’s defense is probably a smart path to take. Eagles win and hoist the Lombardi trophy.
