NC State Wide Receiver Kevin Concepcion To Enter Transfer Portal

The transfer portal this off-season in College Football is going to go crazy. Luckily for you, Vendetta is here to help keep you up to date on some of the moves you need to keep an eye on. We will be bringing out a tracker to help keep order of all players entering, so keep an eye out for that. But for now, let’s turn our attention to the uber-talented Kevin Concepcion out of NC State.

Remember when someone here picked NC State to win the ACC? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Well, that someone was leaning on Grayson McCall and Kevin Concepcion establishing a great connection. Now, this isn’t to say Concepcion has played poorly this season, as he has posted 53 receptions for 460 yards and six touchdowns. However, we’re talking about a former ACC Rookie of the Year and Freshman All-American, after he finished last year with 71 receptions for 839 yards and ten touchdowns.

Concepcion should have a good number of quality suitors this off-season, and rightfully so. The five schools rumored to be in the mix are Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Kansas State, and Penn State. Colorado makes sense as they recently flipped Julian Lewis to be the heir apparent to Shedeur Sanders. I don’t believe Auburn is a real threat. Kansas State landed five-star TE Linkon Cure in this cycle which could intrigue Concepcion. I could also see a big-time program like Alabama or Penn State having a chance, giving Concepcion a chance to play on a big stage.

Kevin Concepcion will have two years of eligibility remaining, and any school would be getting a big-time prospect if they land him. Concepcion has all the talent in the world and I believe making a move to a big-time program that can get him some national recognition would be huge for his draft stock entering the 2026 NFL Draft cycle.
