Bill Belichick Gets New Media Show With Underdog Fantasy

Bill Belichick claims he wants to get back into coaching but he’s sure keeping busy during his one season on hiatus. He did the draft with ESPN and will be joining Pat McAfee throughout the upcoming season. He also will be on the Manning Cast during Monday Night Football. Oh, and now he’s a podcaster too.

Belichick, 72, is joining Underdog to bring an X’s and O’s style show to their platform.

“I partnered with Underdog because Underdog is a sports company run by sports people,” Belichick said of his decision. “They want sports to connect to the fans and that’s what I want to do, I want to find a connection to the fans where I give the fans what they’ve asked me for in terms of content.”

The six-time Super Bowl champion gave a sneak peak of what fans can expect from this show:

“Behind-the-scenes information, decision-making that goes on within the organization, and a breakdown of schematics and personnel within the game. Bring all this real football conversation and decision to the fans,” he said.

What Makes Terry Fontenot Qualified To Interview Bill Belichick?

This show is going to be fascinating to monitor. Obviously, Belichick has always been short with the media in the past during press conferences. Will that change now that he’s actually a media personality? I guess we’re going to find out but I think it’s safe to say fans will be pleased with just how smart of a football mind Belichick truly is. That part there is no questioning.
