Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill: New Tag Team Champions?

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are two of the most dominant women in WWE, if not in wrestling today. With heat running between Belair, Cargill, and Damage CTRL, can we see new women’s tag team champions?

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have made their presence anything but shy since their tag team formation. Coming in hot off their win with Naomi at Wrestlemania 40, the two have shown the women’s locker room why they belong. Since Cargill’s debut in WWE, she currently remains undefeated in singles competition. Belair also kept her Wrestlemania streak intact with her past victory making her 4-0 at the grandest stage of them all. With impressive resumes thus far, the dominant duo pairing up in tag team competition could mean bad news for the women’s tag team division.

Belair and Cargill have already been seen in tag action following their match at Wrestlemania. On the April 12 edition of Smackdown, both women faced off against Piper Niven and Chelsea Green, ultimately reigning victorious. In an interview with Byron Saxton following the match, the two seemed to have their eye on the gold, as Belair stated she has never been a tag team champion, adding one more accolade to her prestigious career.

This past Friday’s episode of Smackdown featured Dakota Kai and the current WWE Tag Team Champions, the Kabuki Warriors, watching the main event for the WWE Women’s Championship from the box seats in the arena. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill appeared in their respective seats not long after to show their support for current champion Bayley and Wrestlemania tag team partner Naomi. The five women hashed it out argumentatively, potentially foreshadowing a title match.

While Jade Cargill has shown to be a powerful woman in other wrestling promotions, she has a lot of room for growth in the WWE. Teaming up with Bianca Belair would be a good opportunity for her to not only gain knowledge from the EST of WWE, but to showcase her wrestling abilities on a deeper level. Belair is a veteran in her own right, and the two of them tag teaming would be beneficial for all parties.

The two women ooze charisma and star power. While they have not been a pair for long, they have already brought more eyes to the WWE. From their matching attire to their fierce personas, it appears to be only a matter of time before those two have gold around their waist.
