Does OG Anunoby Have A Case To Go Into The Hall Of Fame?
I know what you’re thinking. This story is clickbait cheese! Maybe you’re right. Then again, if scumbag Russell Westbrook is going to go into the Hall of Fame, then Anunoby certainly has a better case than that clown. I think we need to remember this one important factor when remembering Anunoby. Masai Ujiri thought Anunoby was so good that he created the most unattainable trade asset of all time.
Keep in mind the Raptors are a mediocre team that needs to rebuild. Ujiri has been hanging onto this Anunoby piece and he will not trade him. Under no circumstance will he move Anunoby. Probably because Ujiri views him as a Hall of Famer, right?
The Raptors were in the Damian Lillard sweepstakes before he got dealt to Milwaukee. Ujiri said Anunoby was not available in a deal for Lillard.
Forget about Anunoby. Ujiri wouldn’t even include Scottie Barnes in the deal for Kevin Durant. Maybe Barnes has a case for the Hall of Fame too?
Memphis was willing to offer four first round picks for Anunoby. Ujiri didn’t even consider it. Clearly Ujiri didn’t have time for that peasant offer of four first rounders. We’re talking about a Hall of Famer!
What more evidence do you need? Everyone seems to blow Ujiri and is convinced he’s a really good general manager. If he won’t even pick up the phone in a trade for Kevin Durant, clearly Anunoby is bound for the Hall of Fame. Who are you to question the great Masai?
