I’m Sorry I Didn’t Tell You To Go Pick Up Jordan Mason

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you to go pick up Jordan Mason. I really am. In reality, it’s your fault. If I was being paid millions of dollars to produce a daily fantasy football show I would have. Unfortunately, that gig belongs to mediocre Matthew Berry who continues to blow himself for being terrible because the rest of you people refuse to speak up.

Storytime

Two weeks ago I was watching the 49ers beat the brakes off the Cowboys (link to game). You’re going to think I’m crazy but I can promise you that I actually am. It doesn’t happen all the time but once in awhile, I see things. They’re always different.

Sometimes it’s a vision.

Sometimes it’s a sign.

Sometimes I’ll hear a random voice talk to me.

I watched Jordan Mason run for a big gainer against the Cowboys and I was hit by a bolt of lightning. I saw a vision that Christian McCaffrey was going to go down and that Mason was going to go on a tear.

You can believe me or not believe me. My resume speaks for itself and I’ll gladly compare it to anyone else’s out there.

When the waiver wire came around, I picked up Mason before this past week’s game against Cleveland.

CMC got hurt almost right away after I added Mason. Then Mason scored a touchdown again in CMC’s absence. We don’t have an exact timeline for CMC but he’s dealing with an oblique injury that will likely sideline him for a period of time. Guess who is in line for a big workload?

Look, odds are that Mason is still available in your league. I’m just sorry I didn’t warn you in advance. Herrick did a great job breaking it down in his weekly waiver wire column. Herrick wisely tells you to go with Mason over Elijah Mitchell who continues to never be healthy.

By the way, Mason is a really underrated player. Jahmyr Gibbs never totally won the job at Georgia Tech and Mason is the reason why. I wrote a lengthy post about how talented Mason was in college. You can believe me or not but I actually watch the games. The gap between Gibbs and Mason isn’t very drastic.

The former Georgia Tech product is averaging 5.9 yards per carry during his brief NFL career. Wait until he gets a big workload with CMC hurt. Just remember that I tried to warn you. Just remember that you would have really been ahead of the curve but you people refuse to speak up. It’s okay, I’ll keep winning while you keep consuming idiots that know nothing like Matthew Berry.

TLDR: Go pick up Jordan Mason in fantasy.
