Tyreek Hill Believes Tua Tagovailoa Is Playing At An MVP Level

The Miami Dolphins are scorching hot through three weeks. They’re not just winning, they’re dominating other teams, especially with their explosive and dynamic offense.

After dropping 70 points in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos, wide receiver Tyreek Hill expressed how impressed he was by what head coach Mike McDaniel has done with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the rest of the team so far this season.

I tip my hat to Coach McDaniel,” Hill said on his “It Needed To Be Said” podcast. “He’s been doing a terrific job with Tua. The way Tua is playing right now, it’s definitely MVP-level. Being on the sidelines just watching the fans chanting “M-V-P” gave me chills in my body.

It was almost like the LeBron (James) free-throw moment.

Tagovailoa has been lights out, no doubt. Through three weeks, he’s thrown for 1,024 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions, completing 71.3 percent of his attempts. Against the Broncos, Tagovailoa went 23-for-26 for 309 yards and four touchdowns without any turnovers.

Fans at Hard Rock Stadium chanted “M-V-P” midway through the game for Tagovailoa, who currently leads the NFL in EPA per play and passer rating, among other categories. According to FOX Sports, Tagovailoa is the favorite to win the NFL MVP award this season at +350.

Hill seems to be having more fun and success with Miami than he ever did with the Kansas City Chiefs. He posted career highs in yards (1,710) and catches (119) in his first year with the Dolphins. Hill is currently on pace for about 2,335 yards this season, assuming he plays a full 17-game schedule!

Every day at practice we’re having fun, we’re laughing,” Hill stated. “We’re doing the same things that we used to do in Kansas City. And it’s special here now, man. It’s beginning to get really special, and I’m loving it.

The Dolphins will look to continue their success against a tough divisional opponent, the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
