Lil Tay suddenly passes away at 14-Years-Old
In a shocking turn of events, former viral sensation Lil Tay has passed away at 14-years-old, her parents announced on Instagram today.
Tay rose to stardom around five to six years ago for her crazy personality for a child. She became known for flexing money and her lifestyle before even going into puberty.
Today, August 9th, 2023, Tay’s parents took to her heavily followed Instagram to create a post regarding her passing.
“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief. During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation.”
“Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.”
First off, this is nothing to joke about. No one’s death is something to be taken lightly. But Lil Tay’s death comes as a concern to some. Tay’s brother passed away suddenly as well. Weird, right? Plus, Jason, Tay’s older brother’s death became a mystery as well, and the investigation is still going on to this day. Two deaths in one family at 21 and 14-years-old. Concerning.
To add some fuel to the fire, the father of both Tay and Jason, Chris Hope, requested custody, money and control over Tay’s career. Hope would be sent to court in 2021 against the BC Supreme Court of Canada for allegedly physically and mentally abusing Lil Tay.
Tay’s brother, Jason, set up a GoFundMe in an attempt to save Lil Tay from abuse from their father. I don’t want to jump to any conclusions, but this seems a little fishy. Her brother sets up an account to unveil their dad’s awful doings, and suddenly dies? Now, after three to five years of silence, Tay suddenly dies too? Both of their deaths are still under investigation? Something definitely seems fishy.
