I said it after the draft and I’ll say it again. Kayshon Boutte is the best wide receiver on the Patriots roster. Just look at the other options on the roster. It’s a lot of trash featuring DeVante Parker, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Kendrick Bourne. With that said, why can’t the former LSU Product be an underrated option in terms of fantasy football drafts?
Has anybody seen the camp reports out of New England?
I believe him.
Demario Douglas might be a young player that finds a way to contribute. Buying into the Tyquan Thornton thing at this point feels foolish.
I’ll ask the question again. Why not Boutte?
Maybe it doesn’t happen right away but there is no question that he’s the most talented guy in the room. Yes, he’s a 6th round pick but he was considered bonafide first rounder the year before. A bad vertical jump and knuckle head stuff made Boutte drop in the draft. If you want to read my draft report on Boutte, feel free to click here.
If you’re doing your rookie draft for dynasty leagues, I think Boutte has to be on your list. I understand taking other receivers ahead of him based on draft position. However, the opportunity is wide open here for Boutte to become a guy in this Patriots offense. It’s worth debating if you want stock of the Patriots’ offense in general in fantasy. Still, I’d much rather take the flier on Boutte over guys like Jayden Reed, Tank Dell, Michael Wilson, and Tre Tucker who were taken several rounds higher in the actual draft.
