Deion Sanders Doesn’t Know Who Pat Narduzzi Is

Even the most casual college football fan has probably heard Pat Narduzzi by now throwing a pity party for himself. Nobody is crying wolf more than the Pitt Panthers head coach and Deion Sanders caught some ricochet shots. You know Prime will not let his comments go unanswered.

247Sports: What do you say to people like Pat Narduzzi who have been critical of your roster overhaul?

Sanders: “What was his situation when he came to Pitt? He had a different situation than me. He is not mad at me, he is mad at the situation in football now that allowed his best player to leave a year ago. He’s not mad at me, he’s using me to shoot bullets at another coach who he has an issue with. I don’t know who he is; if he walked in here right now I wouldn’t know him.”

Mic drop. Deion went with the “I don’t know who he is” line and it worked. I think I give his comeback a solid B+? I might have been more hateful but it’s tough to do when you’re also not trying to create a headache for your program.

Deion basically overturned his roster in one year. The thing is does anybody blame him? This is a team that won ONE game last year. Is Deion doing his job if he’s not trying to upgrade a roster that won ONE game last year? The rules are the rules. Nobody should blame Deion for doing what he did. Anybody saying otherwise is just jealous…
