The Baltimore Ravens are keeping stud defensive tackle Brandon Williams. ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that the Ravens will re-sign him.
It’s a 5-year deal worth $54 million. $27 million of that total will be completely guaranteed. That contract will make him the highest-paid defensive tackle in the NFL. Williams, 26, is a former 3rd round back in 2013 from a small D2 school. Williams ranked 39th among defensive tackles Pro Football Focus. Williams has been a fairly durable player as well playing in 16 straight games for 3 years in a row.
Baltimore has been busy this offseason. They signed safety Tony Jefferson away from the Arizona Cardinals and running back Danny Woodhead away from the Chargers.
