Kyrie Irving Officially Hates His Nets’ Teammates

When Kyrie Irving signed with the Brooklyn Nets this summer, it was supposed to be exactly what he wanted. He was going to be the man for the Nets. He was going to team up with Kevin Durant who didn’t really care for the spotlight. Durant is perfectly happy going on Twitter with his burners. This was about a return home with a promising roster, coaching staff, and front office. All of the pieces were there… Except for the part where he’s still miserable.

After losing to the 76ers, Irving put out this statement:

“I mean, it’s transparent. It’s out there. It’s glaring, in terms of the pieces that we need in order to be at that next level,” Irving said after finishing with 14 points on 6-for-21 shooting in Brooklyn’s 117-106 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday at Wells Fargo Center.

“I’m going to continue to reiterate it. We’re going to do the best with the guys that we have in our locker room now, and we’ll worry about all the other stuff, in terms of moving pieces and everything else, as an organization down the line in the summer.

“It’s just something that we signed up for. We knew what we were coming into at the beginning of this season. Guys were going down left and right for us. [Garrett Temple] is out, [DeAndre Jordan] just got hurt tonight, Wilson [Chandler] is just coming back. We have complementary young guys as well that have done a great job the last three years.

“Collectively, I feel like we have great pieces, but it’s pretty glaring we need one more piece or two more pieces that will complement myself, [Kevin Durant], DJ, GT, Spence [Dinwiddie], Caris [LeVert], and we’ll see how that evolves.”

Look, I defended Kyrie during his time with the Celtics. He may have rubbed people the wrong but I thought maybe he was just a bit weird. I have a weird brain myself and people hate me for no reason. I truly wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially when he held that event before opening night and said how much he loved the Celtics and wants to re-sign. I thought it was best to trust what he said and ignore the media.

I whiffed. I’m ready to say it. Screw Kyrie Irving. That guy is the epitome of a cancer. How can you say this? We’re not even at the All-Star break and you’re bitching. REALLY? So Joe Harris sucks now? What’s wrong with Jarrett Allen? He’s better than your washed boy, DeAndre Jordan. So Garrett Temple is unmoveable? I thought you begged the Nets to trade for Taurean Prince. So you turned on him now too?

Can’t defend him anymore. I was wrong. I admit when I’m wrong. The Celtics are 1000% better without him, Al Horford, and Terry Rozier. I’m not Irving was the root of all the Celtics problems last year. However, there’s no denying that Irving is officially a cancer. I tried to love you Kyrie. You were my favorite player in the league for a long time. Coming from a guy who loves Duke and your game, I can’t even defend you anymore and that’s saying something.
