Why are we gonna give Lou Williams some credit here? First, I would like to state that Sweet Lou is a 3x Sixth Man of the Year winner, and has been in contention to win every year for a while now. For the last 2 seasons and this season so far, Lou Williams is averaging about 20 PPG, at least 3 APG, and about 3 RPG. As a player that comes off the bench, these stats are crazy impressive. Think of how many teams have that kind of production coming off the bench. Sweet Lou will continue to try to win Sixth Man of the Year awards as it seems that the role for him is solidified. At the moment he is tied with Jamal Crawford for most Sixth Man of the Year awards at 3.
What’s not to love about Williams? He’s a humble guy, I mean he signed a contract only 8 million a year when he is worth so much more than that. Lou has always been a team player and is one of those guys that will jump no hesitation if you ask him to. The Clippers are looking to win a championship as Lou Williams is one of the main pieces, along with Montrezl Harrell, to that success. Still having some left in the tank at 33 years old, Lou Will needs to be appreciated more and receive the same amount of respect of NBA starters. He’s better than a lot of NBA starters but doesn’t receive that respect as them. It’s time to start NOW.
