2025 NFL Draft: Washington Commanders War Room

We’re rolling right along here with the 2025 NFL Draft War Room series. The Washington Commanders are next up on the Mock Draft Simulator spin machine. Adam Peters almost had a great draft (minus the Matthew Berry, I mean Ben Sinnott con job). Can we really maintain this level of success picking at the back of the back?

We’re not working with a ton of picks here. We’re missing a three and five out of the gate while also missing a good chunk of picks the following year.

• Round 1: No. 29
• Round 2: No. 61
• Round 4: No. 128
• Round 6: No. 205
• Round 7: No. 245

2025 NFL Draft: Buffalo Bills War Room

This one is going to be tough to navigate. We’re missing picks here after giving them up for veterans like Marshon Lattimore, Deebo Samuel, and Laremy Tunsil. The best thing we can do is move down a few spots while plugging key holes. I’m also not sure the roster is as good as an NFC Title game team so we really have work to do here to get this puppy to the next level.

Do we make a move for a ball-hawking safety? Can we add a running back that makes this offense even more explosive? Jonathan Allen is gone, so the defensive line still needs help too. Defense and a running back seems like it should be the top priority. The biggest thing that needs to happen is here is getting the team to understand progression isn’t always linear and staying hungry is imperative.
