Look, it’s not my fault that Kwesi Adofo-Mensah got too horny and gave all of his picks away. The Vikings only have four picks to work with, and we’re going to have to do our best with what we’ve got. This one isn’t going to take forever, given the circumstances here. With that said, let’s jump right into the War Room with the Mock Draft simulator to see what we can put together here.

• Round 1: No. 24 overall
• Round 3: No. 97 (compensatory pick)
• Round 5: No. 139 (from Browns)
• Round 6: No. 187 (from 49ers)

I’m very curious how Vikings fans will feel about this one. I’m sure Kwesi boy won’t do this, but collecting for next year probably isn’t a bad idea, so we’re not stuck in this same spot for the next go around. I only made two real picks in this one, but boy oh boy did we do some serious asset management in this one.

In terms of actual players, I pretty much went best player available mode based on who I like. The biggest need is probably continuing to build on the secondary, and the deep round picks should probably be used for just that area. The offense is pretty much set in terms of roles, but we added some talent there anyway.
