2025 NFL Draft Grades: NFC East

The AFC is done, and now we’re shifting to the NFC for the 2025 NFL Draft grades. Next on the docket is the NFC East, and while it sure looks like Philadelphia has a stranglehold on the division, we’re going to talk about whether that has a chance to change after this incoming rookie class. Without further ado, let’s get to the good stuff, and if you haven’t been paying attention, the future content plan of action can be found below.

Dallas Cowboys: Grade B+

Round 1: No. 12 – Tyler Booker, G, Alabama (Profile)
Round 2: No. 44 – Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College (Profile)
Round 3: No. 76 – Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina (Profile)
Round 5: No. 149 – Jaydon Blue, RB, Texas (Profile)
Round 5: No. 152 (from ARI) – Shemar James, LB, Florida
Round 6: No. 204 (from DET via CLE and BUF) – Ajani Cornelius, T, Oregon
Round 7: No. 217 (from TEN via NE) – Jay Toia, DT, UCLA
Round 7: No. 239 (from GB via TEN) – Phil Mafah, RB, Clemson (Profile)
Round 7: No. 247 (from KC via CAR) – Tommy Akingbesote, DT, Maryland

Notable UDFAs: Josh Kelly, Traeshon Holden, Rivaldo Fairweather, Alijah Clark, Justin Barron, Zion Childress

Really nice job here by Dallas. Every time they pick early in the draft, they seem to take advantage and do so here. Booker is a really nice get for the line and has the right mentality to stick around for a decade plus. Ezeiruaku gives them a really nice sack artist opposite of Parsons. Revel just might be the steal of the draft. I love that player, and he goes way higher if not for the knee injury.

I just can’t quite give it an A because the Day three picks lowkey stink. Jaydon Blue is a nickel back who loves giving the ball to the other team. At least he’s better than Mafah, who is a total turd. Shemar James might be something, but the rest of these picks probably won’t help you anytime soon. With maybe picks Cornelius and Toia.

New York Giants: Grade C+

Round 1: No. 3 – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State (Profile)
Round 1: No. 25 (from HOU) – Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss (Profile)
Round 3: No. 65 – Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo (Profile)
Round 4: No. 105 – Cam Skattebo, RB, Arizona State (Profile)
Round 5: No. 154 (from SEA) – Marcus Mbow, G, Purdue
Round 7: No. 219 – Thomas Fidone II, TE, Nebraska (Profile)
Round 7: No. 246 (from BUF) – Korie Black, CB, Oklahoma State

Notable UDFAs: Juice Wells, Beaux Collins, Da’Quan Felton, Nate McCollum, Jermaine Terry, O’Donnell Fortune, Makari Page

I would have loved to give a higher grade here, but I simply can’t. Not after blowing your load on Jaxson Dart to save your job. Trading up for him is a sin, and it’s going to get this group fired.

The rest of this draft, they actually did a fairly nice job with. Carter is obviously a stud. The trio of Alexander, Skattebo, and Mbow will all likely become contributors. Again, the roster is way stronger than it used to be. They’re just still going to suck because the quarterback situation here continues to be laughable.

Philadelphia Eagles: Grade A

Round 1: No. 31 (from KC) – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama (Profile)
Round 2: No. 64 – Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas
Round 4: No. 111 (from CAR via DEN) – Ty Robinson, DT, Nebraska (Profile)
Round 5: No. 145 (from NYJ) – Mac McWilliams, CB, UCF (Profile)
Round 5: No. 161 (from HOU) – Smael Mondon Jr., LB, Georgia (Profile)
Round 5: No. 168 – Drew Kendall, C, Boston College
Round 6: No. 181 (from NE via LAC) – Kyle McCord, QB, Syracuse (Profile)
Round 6: No. 191 (from ARI via DEN) – Myles Hinton, T, Michigan
Round 6: No. 207 (from KC via NYJ) – Cameron Williams, T, Texas (Profile)
Round 6: No. 209 (Compensatory, from LAC) – Antwaun Powell-Ryland, EDGE, Virginia Tech

Notable UDFAs: Montrell Johnson, ShunDerrick Powell, Taylor Morin, Hollin Pierce, Lance Dixon, Brandon Johnson, Maxen Hook, Kaimon Rucker, Maliq Carr

What can you even say? At this point, I’m pretty convinced Howie Roseman just drafts based on my list. I’ve given him an A for how many years in a row. We think alike. It seems to work out pretty well for him, too, huh…

Taking Campbell at pick 31 is a damn good gamble. Guy has immense talent to where you’re usually not getting a guy like this at the back of the back. Mukuba was maybe a bit of a reach. The other picks I’m totally in love with. Robinson, McWilliams, and Mondon were among my favorites in this class. They found a way to snag Cameron Williams in round six and then pick up Hollin Pierce as a UDFA. Just insane value there. Oh, and they picked the guy who led college football in passing yards in the 6th round.

Again, I could go on and on here, but I think you get it by now. Howie aced it again, and the birds aren’t going anywhere.

Washington Commanders: Grade B-

Round 1: No. 29 – Josh Conerly Jr., T, Oregon (Profile)
Round 2: No. 61 – Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss (Profile)
Round 4: No. 128 (from HOU) – Jaylin Lane, WR, Virginia Tech
Round 6: No. 205 – Kain Medrano, LB, UCLA
Round 7: No. 245 – Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Arizona (Profile)

Notable UDFAs: Jacoby Jones, Ja’Corey Brooks, Tim McKay, Ricky Barber, Fentrell Cyprus, Trey Rucker,

I had a hard time grading this one. Mostly because they gave up so many picks to land guys like Deebo Samuel, Marshon Lattimore, and Laremy Tunsil. I don’t want to ignore that fact. When you consider you’re picking at the back and still come away with Conerly and Amos… that’s a damn good job to me. I even like the Medrano snag in round six. Given the circumstances, Peters deserves praise here. He made his team better, and a lot of other GMs would have flushed these picks down the toilet. The Commies actually have a real future.

*Still on the horizon*
