I promise we’re going to be positive with this one. Honestly, there’s no sense in being negative. Unlike the rest of this industry, Trey tries to tell you the truth. This time of year, everyone wants to pretend everyone is wonderful despite the fact that we know historically at least 40% of the guys picked in the first round will have their 5th year declined. For this 2025 NFL Draft hot takes post, I’m giving you three names that I’m pounding the table for.

Elijah Arroyo

TE1 and I’m not sure it’s close. If I’m picking a tight end in the class, it’s the guy from Miami and I’m stunned more people don’t feel the way I do.

This one makes zero sense to me. This is a first round player without hesitation for me. At a premium position, a guy who has the recruiting portfolio, sack production, and championship pedigree is being ignored. Not sure how anyone watched the playoff and didn’t move him into their top 10 honestly.
