2024 NFL Draft War Room: Washington Commanders

It’s a new era for the Commanders. They have a committee of people including the guy who somehow got a promotion for taking Trey Lance. Plus, you know, hired a new head coach who got absolutely exposed in the playoff game against the Packers. Is there actually hope here? The 2024 NFL Draft War Room series continues on with Washington and the plan will be to give this franchise hope.

I think fans should be thrilled with the simulation we do. I’m guaranteeing it’s better than what the team ends up with in real life. That’s a guarantee. We didn’t just get a quarterback. We got a ton of talent along with him. I have no idea how they top this in real life.

The team actually has some real draft ammo to work with. It’s an opportunity to turn the corner here quickly. For their fans’ sake, I hope they don’t screw it up because they realistically should get a lot better after this draft if their front office has any clue what they’re doing. Time will tell on that but I wouldn’t be overly optimistic. Why does Magic Johnson have an opinion again?
