2024 NFL Draft War Room: New England Patriots
The New England Patriots hold the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. It’s pretty clear that they’re going to take a quarterback. I don’t think ownership will even let them screw around on it. It’s a matter of who they’re going to pick. That’s why we do this. That’s what the War Room series is all about.
The Pats are in a tough spot. They’re going to get the third or fourth QB. They also need a left tackle in the worst way and probably need to get one in the second round. They also are lacking targets for whoever they draft at quarterback. Good luck trying to navigate all of this while having a bad roster.
That’s the real problem because the reality of the situation is that Marvin Harrison Jr. is probably the correct decision and they probably can’t even do it. Then it’s Harrison stuck there with nobody to get him the ball and it’s only a matter of time before he’s pissed.
You let me know how you feel about this class. I just think you’re limited here. They’re really unable to move down at all. Going to be tough to make the most out of what we have. I don’t know what else you do.
