2024 NFL Draft War Room: Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions are on the clock for the 2024 NFL Draft War Room series. As we enter the War Room, can we try to predict what the Lions are thinking? Better yet, can we help them get better with our own ideas?
Not a ton of holes on this roster. Last year’s draft was good and horrible at the same time. Hopefully, we can right some of those errors like the ridiculous notion that Jack Campbell was worth a middle first round pick last year.
Overall, the team had a solid free agency period. Adding some bodies that will help this team. The draft will be about putting the finishing touches on things. Still plenty of holes to fill. More depth along the offensive line, need another corner, and upgrading the defensive front feel like things on the to do list. We’ll do the best we can with what we have to work with.
We got some picks to work with but life is going to be much harder working at the back of the back. Watch the video to see what we can cook up in this one. Don’t forget, the clock is now ticking. These windows close fast. What are they going to do about Jared Goff while now having to worry about paying some of these up-and-coming younger stars?
