What a year it was for the Seattle Seahawks. Who saw playoffs coming for Seattle in 2022? I know I didn’t. Better yet, Denver stunk too. There is no bigger X-Factor team in this draft than Seattle. What will they do? Nobody knows! The only thing more uncertain is if Pete Carroll grew his brain back. Let’s just do this thing. Here is your Seattle Seahawks 2023 NFL Draft War Room.
The Seahawks have a number of ways they could go. Trading down at 5 is certainly an option to explore. Especially if the two premier quarterbacks are off the board. The Anthony Richardson possibility might be there but he might also be off the board. Is he really worth trading up for?
Seahawk fans might be disappointed by this simulation but if the goal is to build the next Super Bowl winning roster, taking one of those two defensive horses (Jalen Carter & Will Anderson) has to be a serious consideration. Especially if the board falls our way and can take two more good ones with pick 20 and 37. If the goal is to take best player available, this simulation is an A+.
Seattle still wants to run the football with Kenneth Walker. The two tackle spots have been taken care of with Abraham Lucas and Charles Cross. The interior could still use work. Getting one of those big time guard prospects makes a ton of sense.
