2022 NFL Games of the Week: Week 6

After a brief hiatus last week, we are BACK to bring you the best games of the week for Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season. Last week, we were treated to some great games, and after looking at the schedule this week, injuries are preventing us from the same opportunity. This week is very top-heavy, with the afternoon and late games being the centerpiece of a rather uneventful week. Nonetheless, here are the top games for this upcoming week.

Honorable Mentions: Vikings at Dolphins, 49ers at Falcons, Bengals at Saints

5) New York Jets at Green Bay Packers (1:00 p.m. ET, FOX)

These New York Jets are a scrappy team, as mentioned in our overreactions post from Week 5. They are coming off of back-to-back wins over the Dolphins and Steelers, and a strong showing against the Packers and reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers could prove how scrappy they are. The Packers will look to bounce back from a tough loss against the Giants in London. A loss at home to the Jets would surely sound alarms in Green Bay.

4) Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers (8:15 p.m. ET, MNF, ESPN)

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Who in their right mind wants to watch these Broncos, especially on primetime? We aren’t watching for these god-awful Broncos, we are here to watch the Chargers dismantle Denver. This Denver team is in shambles right now, and with Los Angeles on a winning streak going into a down part of their schedule, all the momentum is riding with the Chargers in this one. I don’t think this one will be close at all.

3) Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants (1:00 p.m. ET, CBS)

This game could prove a lot for both teams. Baltimore is off to a rough start at 3-2 with tough losses to Buffalo and Miami. Their inability to close out games late is cause for concern for sure. A win over arguably the hottest team in the NFL, the Giants, could right the ship. But for New York, a win over a team like Baltimore would take them to 5-1 on the year and could go a long way in proving to the rest of the NFC that they are legit.

2) Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC)

Something has to give in this NFC East clash. Cooper Rush is 5-0 as a starter, 4-0 this season, and will be looking for a massive road upset for the second week in a row. Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts is looking to lead the Eagles to their first 6-0 start since 1981. They are the last undefeated team in the NFL, the first time they have held that honor since 2004 when they started the year 7-0. Who gets handed their first loss?

Our Best Game of the Week: Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs (4:25 p.m. ET, CBS)

This just might be the highest-viewed game of the year in all honesty. To top our list of the best games of the week for Week 6, we have a rematch from last year’s AFC Divisional Round. Both Buffalo and Kansas City are 4-1 entering this tilt, both with aspirations of a long playoff run to a Super Bowl. Buffalo boasts top-5 squads on both the defensive and offensive sides of the ball, whereas Kansas City is always going to be their explosive, high-octane selves. We could be looking at a future AFC Championship matchup come late January.
