2022 Christmas Gifts: AFC East Edition

Welcome back to the holiday special where Santa Scott gives Christmas gifts to all the AFC divisions. We are continuing with the AFC East! You can read the previous edition here.

Buffalo Bills: Josh Allen Relaxing A Little

The Bills are AFC East champions again, what could they need? Well, Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things is quite a sight to behold. However, this season he had some very questionable decision-making when attempting to do more amazing Josh Allen things. Allen has had games this season where he puts the ball in danger consistently. For Bills fans around the world, I am giving them the gift of Josh Allen relaxing a little and understanding he does not have to be Superman all the time. I hope Allen can look at today and see he has a great offense and run game around him to provide support.

Miami Dolphins: A Healthy Terron Armstead

Armstead missed the game against the San Francisco 49ers, and the Miami Dolphins got blown out. It seemed like the offense could barely function, that is how valuable Terron Armstead is to this team. They signed him for a reason, his play is a key driving force to this team’s success and he has to be healthy for Miami to make any noise in the playoffs (Or even just to get there)

New York Jets: A Quarterback

Zach Wilson’s career may already be over in New York, which is a shame for the second-overall pick and the general manager who picked him. I mean the Jets played better on offense with Chris Streveler. I love the guy but he could barely throw the football and was basically a right-handed Tim Tebow. Zach Wilson got benched for that guy? Man, it’s over. Mike White might not even be the answer, but my gift to the Jets is a quarterback who can reliably play well. We do not need the big arm throws that Wilson is capable of but for some reason has barely shown. Maybe Jimmy Garoppolo in the offseason? He is familiar with this offensive system, or at least the roots of it. With a quarterback that can actually play solid football, the Jets can become a threat in the AFC East.

New England Patriots: An Actual Offensive Coordinator

This is beating a dead horse at this point, but who thought this Matt Patricia idea was going to work? The only acceptable answer is no one.

Merry Christmas to all AFC East fans. Enjoy the holiday season with your loved ones.
