The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a new face of the franchise with broken Tom Brady. As much as I think it’s a mistake, this War Room post will be easy. The Bucs have Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. The 2020 NFL Draft will be about the running game and offensive line. Simple as that. All resources will be directed towards that. Let’s get right into it. Here is your Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2020 NFL Draft War Room.
Tampa has the 14th pick in the first round. Again, real simple. There are 4 tackles talked about as first round prospects. Pick one of them. Mekhi Becton, Andrew Thomas, Tristan Wirfs, and Jedrick Wills. I’ll be stunned if Tampa doesn’t come out of the draft with one of them. If they don’t it’s a huge failure.
In the second round, Tampa has the 45th pick. Real simple again. Go find the best running back you can. If D’Andre Swift is on the board, pull the trigger. I don’t care who it is. JK Dobbins, Cam Akers, Clyde Edwards-Helaire does it matter?. If the Bucs can’t run the ball this year, they will not win football games. Do you trust Ronald Jones to get the job done because he hasn’t been great so far?
I tried to tell you. This post is really easy to cover the Bucs. Keep Tom Brady upright. If they go into this season with no improvements on the offensive line, kiss the year goodbye. Tom Brady needs to be kept upright. Take a guard in the 3rd round. How’s Damien Lewis of LSU sound? Get it done.
